Lisa has more than 30 years of experience in a wide variety of educational settings. She is currently the Executive Director of Bridge the Gap College Prep, offering programs to help Marin City children and youth prepare for college and career. Most recently, Lisa was Head of Lower School at Black Pine Circle in Berkeley; previously she was a division director for education at Catholic Charities of the East Bay focusing on preschool teacher training as well as college entry and success for first-generation students and building multi-service collaboratives in Contra Costa County. Lisa has also been involved with WestEd, a San Francisco-based nonprofit working to promote educational excellence. She has a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies and an M.A. in education from UC Berkeley. Lisa is the proud mom of two young adults and loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and black lab. She has been a masters rower for over a decade.
