Michelle joined First 5 Marin in 2005 with an extensive background in state, regional and local government as well as legislation, media and public sector communications.  As Manager of Public Policy and Communications, she plans and develops the Commission’s outreach and education efforts including email messaging, media and social media.  Michelle also directs the “Marin Communications Forum,” providing free monthly public policy presentations on priority issues for children and families and trending issues of concern to community leaders, advocates and service providers.  Michelle also reports to the Commission on state legislation and public policy matters.
